Dr Nisha Kedia MBChB DRCOG DFFP LoCIUT MRCGP

Graduated from Glasgow University in 1998 and spent 2 ½ yrs working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before completing her GP training on the St Albans and Hemel VTS. She is a general practitioner at Colney Medical Centre, St Albans. She has also completed a further 6 months training in sexual health and is currently studying for a postgraduate diploma in gynaecology.


Dr Bethan Rees Bsc MBBCh DRCOG DFFP MRCGP

Graduated from the University of Wales in 1994 and has 2 years of gynaecology experience based at the Whittington and Homerton Hospitals in London. She is a GP at the Elms Medical Practice in Harpenden, and is currently studying for a postgraduate diploma in gynaecology.

Mr Pratik Shah MBBS MD MRCOG

Graduated from St George’s Medical School (London) in 1985 and completed his training in a number of London teaching hospitals. He became a consultant in 1999 and is currently the Clinical Director for Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Barnet & Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust. He has a special interest in vaginal surgery, menstrual disorders and pelvic pain as well as being trained in gynaecology scanning, colposcopy and out-patient hysteroscopy.

Mr Dan Selo-Ojeme MBBS MBA FWACS FMCOG MRCOG

Graduated from the University of Ibadan (Nigeria) in 1980, he completed his specialist registrar training on the North Thames Rotation and became a Consultant at Barnet & Chase Farm Hospital NHS Trust in 2004. He has a special interest in incontinence and infertility and is trained in colposcopy.

Mr. Soumitra Banerjee MBBS MRCOG M.Phil

Mr Banerjee is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at East & North Herts NHS Trust (Lister Hospital, Stevenage & QEII Hospital, Welwyn Garden City). He trained at the prestigious Hammersmith Hospital, London under Professor Lord Robert Winston, one of the world's most respected medical academics. As well as being a general Gynaecologist, Mr. Banerjee has a special interest in infertility, especially fertility related laparoscopic/hysteroscopic surgery, and tubal microsurgery and myomectomies.

Mr Stephen John Burrell   MB BS, BSc, MRCP, MRCOG, MFFP

Mr Burrell is a Consultant Gynaecologist & Obstetrician at Luton & Dunstable NHS Foundation Trust. He trained in London at Queen Charlottes and UCH. He has obtained both MRCP and MRCOG, is skilled in ultrasound scanning and is an examiner for the RCOG. Stephen has a special interest in heavy periods and pelvic pain including endometriosis. He will be starting regular sessions with the Gynae CATS in January 2009, seeing and scanning patients with abnormal bleeding and pelvic pain as well as general gynaecology.
